Hello all,

Im planning to dine at those restaurants on top of Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Any reviews or restaurants to recommend? I think they have a few restaurants there.

It depends on what you want.
The view is quite ok.
The food is so so.
The ambient is noisy.
Do not expect any romantic moment there.
It has the name of being the tallest building in Bangkok and that's it.

If you would like to enjoy the view and better ambient I recommend Vertigo Bar on Banyan Tree Hotel. Over air on rooftop bar.
Nice one.

Can also recommend u Sirocco open air restaurang and bar on 63 floor at Lebua hotel on Silom rd.
Breathtaking wiew over Bkk, good ambience and quite romantic :) The only negative is that its very expensive there!

Thank you all for your replies! Will definitely research further on it and might just give them both a try.
Any opinions on Baiyoke Sky Hotel? Tripadvisor has a mixture of excellent and really terrible reviews, kinda swing to the extremes. Wondering if anyone know how the hotel is really like.

Cheers.

Hi @ceyeline :)
What makes u so much want to go Baiyoke sky hotel?? Its not that fantastic, quite overrated i would say (but thats my opinion) Both Sirocco and Vertigo is better choises , considering atmosphere, ambience, food and so on but again its "my opinion" I hope whereever u go in Bkk u will have a great experience !

I think people are crazy about Baiyoke because it bared the name of the tallest building. That's it. Apart from that there is nothing much special. Well...this building is just right from my house. It is the place for tour groups and company function.

To enjoy the view I agree with Siccoro and Vertigo. But better have dinner somewhere else or order some tapas to get alone while waiting for the sunset. It is nice for both waiting for sunset and after dark. Great view.

Thank you all!
I made reservations for Vertigo and looking forward. Checked out the menu, price ranges from 2200thb to 3400thb per person at Vertigo. Pretty steep.
